Defect Free Handover: Canterbury Mills Primary School

Canterbury Mills Primary School has been awarded Defect Free Handover!

DES ensured there were zero defects during the handover on Canterbury Mills. Our involvement before the construction stage is a key part in which for this commitment to be achieved. To reduce the risk of a defect occurring, we implement our Quality Management System control procedures. A site management team ensure regular checks and inspections are in place in accordance with our QMS Manual during the construction stage.

DES would like to thank the team on this project for all their efforts and hard work. The team has been recognised as Willmott Dixon’s Supply Chain Partner.

Scott Henry (Willmott Dixon Build Manager):

”I would just like to personnel say thank you for all of your efforts into making Canterbury Mills such a successful project. With all of the challenges this project threw at us, we still managed, as a team, to complete this on time and defect free. Your efforts throughout this process have been tremendous and the proof has been shown in the overwhelmingly positive comments each and every person has once they have visited this project. Canterbury Mills demonstrates that working collaboratively and as one team, is the most effective way to operate.

It was truly a pleasure and privilege to work alongside you all on this project and hope this is the first of many I get to experience with you all.”
