The Cobham Challenge

Brian Powell (Operations Director) has graciously agreed to represent DES to support Willmott Dixon’s charity Chestnut Tree House by undertaking the Cobham Challenge 2018 – Jurassic Classic.

On Friday 29th June, Brian will complete this challenging 100 mile road cycle challenge along with over 100 people from Willmott Dixon’s Cobham and Dartford offices who will be raising funds to support Chestnut Tree House.

Chestnut Tree House is the only children’s hospice in East and West Sussex and cares for over 280 children and young adults from 0-25 years of age with progressive life-limiting conditions from Sussex and South East Hampshire. There are potentially 1,000 families with life-limited children in Sussex. Chestnut Tree House offers support for the whole family including psychological and bereavement support, end of life and short break care and sibling support. As the name suggests, this challenge takes place along the Jurassic Coast; England’s first natural UNESCO World Heritage Site which ranks among the Great Barrier Reef and the Grand Canyon as one of the wonders of the natural world, situated on the English Channel coast of southern England. It stretches from Exmouth in East Devon to Studland Bay in Dorset.

Let’s all support Brian and this good cause by donating on his Just Giving page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/brian-powell01

Go Brian!!!
