DES holds the strong belief that it is imperative to continue to support projects after Practical Completion. This can be in the form of the Retentions and Liabilities works, as well as a planned aftercare service, ensuring that your building/project continues to perform at its optimum level.

We pride ourselves on our high levels of service delivery at all stages of the Construction Process and Client feedback has highlighted the importance of continuing these high levels even after Practical Completion.

We strive to ensure zero defects at hand over, on every completed project entrusted to us. For this commitment to be achieved, dedicated involvement before the construction stage commences is paramount.

Our procedures have been developed to ensure that the building user has a smooth transition from the Construction Phase through to full building occupation.  Responsibility for this role passes to our Quality Manager who will be the single point of contact to deal with issues that may be encountered following practical completion.

Should an issue arise with the completed the fault will be reported, logged and actioned. We shall arrange for our experienced engineers to rectify any faults within the specified time periods to be agreed with the Client.

Defect Free Handovers
To reduce the incidence of defects, we implement our Quality Management System control procedures on all projects, with the site management team making regular inspections in accordance with our QMS Manual during the construction phase.
