DES Complete Works For DEFRA

DES delivered the electrical design (design & build) to the DEFRA site in an ultra-tight timeframe taking RIBA stage 1 through to design completion stage 5 in nine weeks.

The installation was also successfully delivered to a short programme of nine weeks.

The Border Control Post will operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and currently estimated to involve over 124,000 checks per year. Over 120 staff are likely to be directly employed/engaged by the council.
