DES have recently handed over the electrical installation to Goldbeck Construction as part of Willmott Dixons new car park development in the centre of Winchester
The demolition of former Vaultex Site and construction of a decked car park with 300 spaces to meet demands of increasing P&R.
The project forms part of Winchester City Councils Climate Neutrality Action Plan (CNAP) stating additional Park & Ride car parks will help to support the councils carbon reduction targets as well as support the Electric Vehicle Charging strategy.
DES installed 800 square meters of Photovoltaic solar panels and 16 electric vehicle charging points to the site which supports the council’s carbon reduction targets.
The installation by Ablaze on the 3 story car park was completed within a tight 10 week time frame and is DES’ first project with Goldbeck.
