Olympics 2012
DES are proud to have helped deliver the London Olympics. We installed in multiple areas including the basketball arena, swimming pools and outdoor facilities.
The venue was not only one of the most visually dramatic buildings of the 2012 Games, it is also one of the biggest temporary structures ever erected for any Olympic or Paralympic Games.
Initial works started on the Basketball arena in October 2009, and construction was completed on time and within budget in June 2011 – making it one of the quickest Olympic Park venues to be constructed.
