STEM Centre, Preston College
The new Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) development was completed by Kier with DES designing and installing the M&E. Preston College, working with industry, put together an ambitious plan – which will see all the science and technology sectors brought together under one roof at the St Vincent’s Road campus.
DES generated £200k M&E cost savings through re-design, helping the client achieve their budget target. DES was brought in as part of the early design team twelve months before construction commenced.
